Ultramarine Collection
Surface Design
The Ultramarine Collection was designed with color at the forefront. Repeated geometric shapes in tints of blue and turquoise cascade across the credenza and bar cart surfaces. Both designs are brought to life with pieces of vibrant back-painted glass. For the credenza, I had the opportunity to design the brass drawer pulls and legs as well. The hardware is inspired by the swooping shapes in Eero Saarinen’s work.
Op Art Credenza
Surface Design
Tasked with designing a new credenza for the Op Art collection, I created this interlocking linear graphic that puts a twist on the classic Greek Key motif. The design on the credenza doors is rendered in strips of ivory and black back-painted glass.
Arcade Cabinet
Surface Design
Based on the success of decorative accessories in the Arcade Collection, the motif was expanded into casegoods. I collaborated with one of our furniture designers to create this cabinet. The repeated arch motif informed the shape of legs. The entire surface is covered in top-stitched leather.
